Telecare and AI powered care (examples of solutions in Italy)

During the project, we conducted a market review (in September 2023, updated in 2025) aimed at identifying and mapping existing technological solutions that could address the specific needs and challenges emerging from the various pilot sites involved. Below are some examples of the solutions identified during this process.

REHABILITY

REHABILITY, developed by Imaginary srl company, is a tele-rehabilitation platform developed to support cognitive and physical rehabilitation and to promote active ageing. It offers a suite of gamified cognitive and physical exercises tailored to specific pathologies such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and spinal cord injuries. ANCELIA

ANCELIA is a smart care technology developed by TeiaCare, designed to support residential care facilities through continuous and remote monitoring of residents. It uses an intelligent optical sensor to autonomously collect data on individuals’ conditions, which is then processed by artificial intelligence to generate real-time alerts and strategic reports. The system includes the Carer App for immediate notifications and the Manager App for data analysis and decision support. PANDO

PANDO is a smart care solution developed by PANDO Labs, aimed at improving safety and autonomy for older people in residential care facilities and home environments. Their technology integrates various devices to create a responsive and proactive system that can detect and react to potentially dangerous situations. The solutions are designed to adapt to the specific needs of users and care structures, promoting a safer and more efficient care environment through automation and real-time monitoring. DIPAS 2.0

DIPAS 2.0, created by Care4u, is a monitoring system intended to enhance safety in healthcare environments without compromising privacy. It operates through discreet sensors, without cameras, to track patients’ conditions within rooms or facilities. SeniorVR

SeniorVR, developed by Silverwear, is a virtual reality platform aimed at improving the well-being of older people through immersive experiences. It offers both recreational and therapeutic activities, such as virtual travel, cognitive stimulation, and motor skill exercises. The system uses high-resolution 360° and 3D environments accessible via a headset, allowing users to explore and interact in a safe and controlled setting.
