An added value of the service is the 24-hour assistance centre, which responds to calls for help and provides appropriate action (first aid or family call). The main target groups are older, chronically ill, and disabled people and their carers. In particular, people aged 65 or over who, as a result of illness, frailty, injury, disability, lack or loss of intellectual capacity, have a limited capacity for self-care or spend most of the day alone and do not benefit from all-day forms of institutional care.

  9. etc.

*In 2022 SRC Infonet's project to introduce electronic documentation for clinical patient management at Topolščica Hospital was one of the three finalists for the godigital! – award, which recognises the best digital transformation project in Sloverea. The biggest advantages described by the jury are: improved data quality, due to the input of data at the moment it is generated, improved insight into the patient's condition due to the insight into the data, which is refreshed in real time alongside the patient (leading to better and more timely decisions in the treatment and nursing process), more efficient flow of data and information between healthcare professionals and departments involved in medicines management (resulting in transparent and reduced consumption of medicines and precise treatment schedules, reducing the chances of errors and allowing a completely paperless business). In particular the staff reported improved safety of patient treatment. Nurses can now see exactly what is prescribed for the patient. There are no more problems with illegible record. Employees also pointed out that the electronic system significantly reduces work time. Everything is more transparent, all patient data is immediately available in the system.
